Guest Bio
Charlie Poznek, the owner of the Boomer Business Owner, is a social media coach who refers to himself a guy who leads a reasonably good life with a goal to lead an unreasonably spectacular life. For the better part of 20 years, he worked in the hedge fund industry, and he wouldn’t trade that experience for anything. But, today he doesn’t help someone else build their dream but rather is building his own. While still working in the hedge fund industry, Charlie began investigating ways to build an online business and in a matter of a few years transitioned from working for someone else to creating a strong online presence for his various business ventures.
Charlie works with business owners and brick and mortars to help them increase their online presence. Charlie also hosts the successful podcast The Boomer Business Owner Podcast. You can find out more about Charlie at http://theboomerbusinessowner.com/

Episode #34 Storytelling, Knowing the Audience Emotionally to Choose Your Parts of the Story
Welcome to the show!
Today I’m talking about storytelling. But, that’s a really big topic! There are so many moving parts to storytelling. I’ve been hearing from people lately that they don’t understand why some people use stories that are not relevant in any way to their presentation or audience.
I’ve talked about and taught about storytelling in the past. But, today what I want to talk about in relation to stories is the emotional quotient of the audience and the parts of the story.
Today you’ll hear about:
The emotional quotient of the audience vs. the demographics,
How to figure out what the audience needs,
Delivering the stories that the audience needs based on their emotional needs,
The parts of the story, all of them,
Why we gravitate to the least vulnerable parts of the story,
Where to use what parts of the story and more!

Episode #30 Bringing the Guest Bio or Promo to Life
Welcome to the show.
Today, I’m talking about bringing the guest bio to life, for podcaster’s or in interviews. But, this voice technique will work for anything that is scripted like a promo video where you want to make a big impact with your voice and not sound stiff but rather conversational.
In today’s episode I’ll be talking about:
Why you sound stiff,
The reason the script can be problematic,
The steps you need to take to get away from the script,
How to bring the words to life and MORE!
I think you will really love this episode, especially if you are a podcaster or if you make videos of any kind.
