Episode #10 Voice and Vulnerability
Welcome to the show!
Voice and Vulnerability, they go together like peanut butter and jelly or like oil and vinegar, depending on how you look at it and how you want to connect with and use it, or not.
The voice is the most vulnerable tool we have. We as humans tend to protect ourselves from vulnerability and we’ve laid that into our bodies, into our muscle memory. As a result, we cut ourselves off from air, we cut ourselves off from connection.
In today’s episode I’m going to talk about why vulnerability is key for you to make connections, why and how we disconnect from voice vulnerability and how we can change that.

Tweetable: The voice is the orchestra of the heart.
The eyes may be the windows to the soul, but the voice is the orchestra of the heart.
Every time we open our mouths we stand to be judged and we know that. We think that if we get quiet or don’t really step into our voice power or even not speak that we will be protected. But, the truth is, we are just simply cutting ourselves off from connection and reall power, real engagement, really captivating the audience.
It’s essential to connect to vulnerability with your voice.
